THE DRIVE
Commercial Drive, or colloquially known as 'The Drive' is a 3.4 kilometre stretch of road located in East Vancouver, British Columbia. The Drive is an eclectic gathering place for all things food, art, music, shopping and more. The people who call The Drive their home are full of flavour, outspoken and fiercely proud of their community. Approached by Commercial Drive Business Society, Rethink was tasked with designing a new logo and identity, as well as refreshing Vancouver's Little Italy, which lives at the heart of Commercial Drive.

The identity derives from Commercial Drive’s 3.4 kilometre road. With a design system that transforms the ‘road’ from the logo into an ever-changing gallery to showcase everything The Drive has to offer - from fine dining, to live music, to bike polo.
